Dawson Precision Glock Standard Fiber Optic Front Sights
Is there really a difference with Dawson Precision sights? You bet there is! While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, DP sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.
- Counter Bored Optic Keeps Sight Picture Clear and Bright

Old eyes help
Posted by Steve on Aug 15th 2017
Got this sight to replace the front sight of a set of Heinie sights on a Glock 21. THe Heinie sights were not working for these old eyes so I replaced the front sight with the same height as the Heinie but consierbly thinner. It made a world of difference and improved my sight picture tremendously
I have these on all my pistols

These are easy to pick up even in lower light conditions. But, they really shine when the sun does.

Replaced factory front sight with this DP fiber optic sight. Wow the sight picture is fantastic. Great product and value. Will purchase again.

I went with these to get a more target style sight system on my Glock 17 Gen 3. .225" rear height and a .125" notch. The front sight is .205" tall and .115" wide. I can see the window perfect and I'm scoring 29/30 from 25 yards consistently. Great sight system. I recommend investing in a set of calipers so you know what you have currently and help you adjust to perfect.
Front sight 115 tall

MOS Glock backup

Works great for person wanting a front sight just in case the MOS or red dot type sight fails.

Bought a new Gen 4 G29 and it shot high. I bought one of the more popular fiber optic brands with a height of .215; the only option they had.
Not only did my pistol now shoot way too low, but the sight itself did not fit into the slot in my slide properly. I had to use epoxy to get it to work, and then after one range session, it came loose.
It was a total disaster and a waste of $25 and time and effort.
I had my first GSSF match in 8 days and thought I'd just have to adjust my point of aim.
A couple of posters on a popular Glock forum told me to just spend a few extra bucks and get a Dawson Precision. I could not believe the wide array of heights and widths available! I ordered the height that I thought would correct it and the sight arrived in less than a week.
I could not believe the obvious increase in quality over the big name sight, and it came with a great aluminum sight removal tool!
My shots were perfectly placed and I am now a huge fan of Dawson Precision sights!
Great Product on all of my guns now

I have used Dawson on all of my Glocks. I have transitioned to fiber from black steel and night sights. Gathers light well and as I get older it is easier to see. Very happy with the sight and the service.
great for aging eyes
