Dawson Precision Glock Standard Fiber Optic Front Sights

Is there really a difference with Dawson Precision sights? You bet there is! While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, DP sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.

This is an exceptional sighting system. It really pops in the sunlight, very easy to pick up the front sight. I would recommend Dawson to anyone.

    6. Glock MOS with Delta Point This is the sight for you!

Posted by Bill on Feb 28th 2017

purchased this sight on a recommendation from technical support at Leupold for installation on a glock 17 MOS with a leupold delta point pro and it is the correct height and the installation is a breeze with the tool provided by Dawson Precision. The fiber optics are very bright and the sight comes with a red, orange, green tubes.

    7. good product overall

With the new sight the pistol hits about 2 inches low at 20 feet but it's better than 6 inches high. Overall well made piece of gear, very easy to install. I wish the calculator would have zeroed the weapon.

    8. Bullet Impact Calculator is Dead on.

Posted by Charlie on Feb 20th 2017

Purchased a 0.160 x 0.105 fiber optic front sight for my son's Glock 34. The original Dawson sights that we put on his gun were spot on, but we changed him from shooting 125 grain coated bullets to 147 grain and had enough chronograph data to reduce his power factor confidently much nearer to minimum. The result was about a 3.0-3.5 inch drop in impact at 20 yards. Used the calculator to move his POI up 3.0 inches and he is in the middle of 6 inch steel plates again at 20 yards.

    9. Absolutely, The Best Glock Target Sights Available

Posted by Gene Norman on Feb 15th 2017

Absolutely, The Best Glock Target Sights Available:
      Why do I say that?

Well this is my 21st year shooting Glock pistols.

Satisfactory target sights have always been a problem with Glock Pistols, even when you get one of the practical/tactical models with Glock’s adjustable sights on those models.

I have used most of the aftermarket sights available on the market at some time in the past.

Nothing gives you the options that are offered by Dawson Precision.

Older eyes? My eyes are 82 years old, yep eighty-two, and yes I go to the range twice a week whither I need to or not, and shoot IDPA matches 2nd Saturday and Steel Challenge on 4th Saturday every month.

Gun shoots too high and need a taller sight? Dawson has it. Shoots too Low and need a shorter one? Dawson Has it.

Shoots either high or too low and you don’t know what sight height you need? Look on the website for their sight calculator. I did, and it works.

Nothing gives you the information for installation that is offered by Dawson Precision.

Dawson recommends that their sights be installed by a gunsmith. Unless you have 5 thumbs on each hand, you don’t need a gunsmith. Or could I be a gunsmith and don’t know it?
