Description

Is there really a difference with Dawson Precision sights? You bet there is! While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, DP sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.

  1. Good sight

This sight works extremely well, the fiber captures a good amount of light and as a result shines bright. I took one star off due to the large amount of material I needed to file off in order to get this sight to fit. I understand the idea of over sizing to ensure it'll fit anything with some work, but this required upwards of 45 minutes of filing, testing and backing the sight out which resulted in the front sight finish getting beat up quite a bit in the process.

Received my P30 FO front sight on 3 days and it's great as usual. Did have to take an awful lot of material off to get it in the slide but it's well worth it.

  4. Sight for sore eyes...

With my eyes getting older this fiber optic sight helps me to keep a good aim. I have them on my HK 45c, HK P30s, and Glock 30sf.
Using the the 'narrow' rear sight (black only no illumination) the sight picture is perfect without having to 'align' the front sight directly in the middle of the rear notch. The sight alignment is 'perfect' or not. No in-between.
