I put one to these sights on my Kimber 22 conversion. Install was super easy and the sight is great. I've got Dawson sights on several of my pistols. They are my "go to" sight when I need something bright, crisp, and accurate and they never disappoint.
The height was exactly the same as the stock one. The fiber optic insert is very bright. The sight went right in the front dovetail with minimal filing. Would buy another without hesitation if I needed one.
I have this Dawson sights on three of my pistols so I ordered this one for my new .22 conversion. The red optic makes it easy for my eyes to focus on the front sight. I wish the sight was available in the partridge sight in the standard width.
Great front sight with just the right amount of light on each side. Now my .22 and .45 have the same sight picture! Installed easily, with tools included. This also has 2 tiny set screws and wrench to help hold it in, but it was a nice snug fit in my Kimber slide as is. Thanks DD
Added Dawson Fiber Optic sight to my Kimber 22. Much better sight picture and very easy to install with tools provided. You just can't go wrong with one of these great Dawson Precision fiber optic sights.
Wow, what a difference the Dawson Precision fiber optic front sight makes on mu Kimber Rimfire Super!
I can finally differentiate between the sight and a black background. The width is perfect with the stock rear sight notch - far better than the way-too-wide front sight that was stock on the gun.
Dawson Precision's service was fantastic - ordered Thursday night, shipped Friday morning, delivered Monday afternoon. I installed the sight Monday afternoon, and tested with live fire before dinner – perfect!
Oh, the installation ... yeah, about that ... Dawson Precision includes the ideal tools required for your SPECIFIC sight installation. My Rimfire Super has a very expensive finish - their included tools, recommended Loctite and dual set-screws allow the sight to be correctly installed, without forcing it. This prevents either ruining the slide's finish, or the light-weight aluminum slide.
I could not be happier with the Dawson Precision sight or customer experience. They have it right from all angles.
Best of all, my Kimber Rimfire Super is finally FUN!
