    This rear sight is the perfect sight for the American Tactical 9mm commander model. The gun has been known to shoot low of POA. I have tried two (2) other sights as the OEM sight is low and need a higher rear sight. Found Dawson on a web search and looked at all 1911 sights and found this one. So I tried it and bingo. At 7 yards which is factory sighting, target impact is dead center at POA. I do recommend this sight for the American Tactical 9mm commander using the OEM front sight.
