Is there really a difference with Dawson Precision® sights? You bet there is!

I purchased the 0.130 tall and 0.125 wide front sight for Taurus PT 1911 45 ACP that was shooting low. It shoots point of aim now with a variety of loads with bullets 185 grains to 230 grains from 10 to 50 yards. It fixed my issues with the factory sights for a very low cost. It came with a tool to aid installation and required removal of 0.005 inches of metal to fit the barrel groove which took just a few minutes of careful file work to gain a tight fit. Thanks Dawson Precision!
Nothing special, just another top quality product that keeps me coming back anytime I need a sight. Same old super fast shipment and delivery. Installation took about a half dozen light file strokes to get to 1/3 finger insertion . Good tight fit. What else could Anyone want.
The only flaw was that the fiber optic installed was red instead of green. I had to change that out.
