Dawson Tool-less Basepad for STI 2011 and 2011 clones. Remember mag tubes vary in length, so always check that Mag and Base Pad comply with rules in your discipline.
Please note, for the new STI/Staccato Gen2 9mm magazines, use Gen2 9mm, .38 Super, .40 S&W, .45ACP Plus 1 Basepads.

Clean mags are reliable. Dirty mags are not. We know that cleaning mags every stage is a pain, so at least we make it as easy as possible. DP Tool-less TM Basepads are fast and easy. Pick up that mag you dropped in the dirt, slide the lock gate forward, remove the spring and follower, push a mag brush through once or twice, spray in a little Mag Slick, pop it all back together, load it back up and you are ready in a matter of seconds. Look, if a mag hits the ground it should be cleaned. Dirt and grit act like wheel chocks keeping the rounds from popping up in time to feed in the chamber. Make it easy on yourself. The quality of these Tool-less TM Basepads is second to none. CNC machined from billet aluminum to exact tolerances mean they last. Drop 'em, kick 'em, throw 'em. Okay, don't kick 'em or throw 'em, but drops from reloads won't phase them.

These are the best and easiest to remove basepads I have used. The new ones I just received, when placed on the STI tubes were still able to meet the mag gage requirements. I"m very happy with the purchase.
Fit STI 140 mm mags and give you one more round. Have to use paper clip to push in pin to remove, but that will probably go away when broken in.
I have been adding these to my various competition magazines for years. They are fantastic and hold up to abuse and harsh conditions.

These easily removable base pads are a must. I thought I might ship back to Dawson but when I installed these on my mags their,s no chance they're going back these should be on everyone,s magazines . Great job Dawson

Very easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning during stages at steel challenge and IPSC matches!!! Great product, highly recommend. Run my STI DVC LIMITED with them!
