The 8R-45-RG has the same overall assembled height as other 8 round .45 magazines while increasing internal tube volume with our removable basepad technology to maintain a proper 8 round capacity, easily loading "8.5" rounds. CobraMag's"True Anti-Tilt Follower" provides solid steel on steel lockback and very smooth function with polymer on steel while feeding rounds.

I have been running Wilson ETM (.45) mags for a while. My biggest complaint with those is the plastic follower. So I decided to try Tripp. This may be my new favorite. The fit and finish is superior. They are super easy to disassemble and clean. The weight is exactly the same as Wilson, and the hybrid follower has solved my issue. Couple these with the Dawson base pad and they are hard to beat.
