This Low Profile Mag Button won't release when you lay a pistol on a flat surface or when you're shooting. Because it is so low, it doesn't interfere when you don't want it to. it will, however, make it easy to release your magazine for fast reloads.

just added to my sti eagle. just the right size to allow the gun to fit in the holster and makes it easy to reach with your thumb. very well made, just add a little loctite and screw it in the mag release. why aren't these installed by sti???

I ordered the blued to add to my new open gun build with the IDPA length mag release. It has a smaller circumference than i was expecting, which I am more fond of than my larger disc button on the limited gun. I added a partial drop of blue thread locker to make sure it will come off when I need it to and not in a match.

Great mag release button. Screwed right in. Just the right size with nice low profile and fine sharp checkering for a firm feel. I ordered it and it arrived in a couple of days.

the Mag button is great....but they keep unthreading and then you lose them. I have just gone thru 3 in the last 6 weeks trying different things.

This mag release button is lower profile than others I've looked at.
I bought 1 each blue and S/S for my 1911 guns, and note that the blue is more of a black that goes well with black guns.
The button as I said is low profile, a nice size that doesn't interfere with a left hand shooter, and has nice cut sharp checkering.
The price is in line with most of the others out there.
Don't forget that you have a choice of screw thread sizes.
