I broke the fiber optic sight on my muzzle loader while hunting, and bought this to repair it. The material is easy to work with and collects light well. After fixing my sight I put a length of it in the patch box of the rifle for in field repairs.

Unbelievable difference when I swapped out the old inserts. Didn’t know fiber optic would dull over time but they will. New ones look like they are battery powered!
Fibers are good but I wish they had more colors like yellow. They're also pricey in my opinion compared to other fiber retailers.
Not too complex of an item that it needs an in depth review. Ive used dawson .04 and .06 and they both do what their supposed to. They are bright and bulb up easy. Id give it 5 stars if they can come up with a permanent/ non breaking version once its in your front sight.

at first when i put these in of course i was inside and the light wasnt right and did not shine right. I took my ruger blackhawk 44 mag and browing buckmark out this moring and the sights outside lit up like lasers. i could see my front sight on my blackhawk right finaly was hitting broken pieces of blue rock at 50 yards . buckmark was doing same . great product it is good to see front sight so clear now.
CZ customer service was busy, called Dawson and was told my Shadow2 takes .60. Ordered a foot of red and green and received them two days later. I think I may stay with green, seems to improve my front sight focus.
