Great light transfer properties
I replaced the fiber on one I had broken. It worked as advertised and was easy to install. Fiber optic is so much easier to see as my formerly 20/10 eyes have lost their powers over the years. These really are helpful in a low light situation or, when the target is dark and you have black sights rather than the fiber insert to differentiate sights and target.

Very Brite
I have Hi Viz front sight that is .140 wide on my Walther PPQ M2. It had a plastic case around the insert that effectively blocked much of the sunlight. I ripped it off using a pair of pliers then drilled .060 hole in the front edge of the front sight sight (it originally only had an indentation for the Hi Viz fiber optic rod to push into.) I blued it 4 times then inserted the Dawson Precision .060 insert and heated both ends to lock it in place. It is so much brighter than the original it is unbelieveable.

Incredibly Bright
Original just fell out one day. Searched online and found this place (read a couple forums as well) from some recommendations. I get it. They fit perfectly. Came to a bead without any problems. Highly recommend. Used both red and green.

Quality piece
Bought to change out a green front pipe on a S&W Victory 22 pistol. The contrast of green in back and red in front is what I prefer. DP fiber was a perfect fit and easy to install as always.
