I was shooting my Smith&Wesson 9 mm pro , in the middle of a match the green fiber optic front broke off , when I got home I went on Dawson Precision .com and order a new fiber optic inserts ,I ordered one in green and one in red, the biggest problem I have is which one to use , lol there both very bright I'm so happy I order them , Dawson Precision really took care of me ,there your one stop shop for fiber optics , I highly recommend then .
Much brighter than other brands! Hope to retrofit as many as possible with this.

Fiber optical is very bright in clear and sunny weather,however on cloudy days. Not so bright. Overall please with purchase..
This Fiber Optic replacement insert was purchased to replace one that fell out of my STI Sentry while shooting a match some weeks back. Since I had purchased the pistol through Dawson Precision it seemed like a no-brainier to return to the web store and see if this was a serviceable part. Much to my delight, the fiber was available and I noticed Dave supplied a nice video to explain it's replacement. I purchased both the red & green fiber optic to experiment with and my front sight is as good as new again. Many thanks for the great customer support, video and free shipping on this item, cheers!
Got these (.060") to replace the fiber element on a set of TruGlo TFO sights that fell out during a match. Turns out the tritium part was still there, so just need to replace the fiber element. Cut and flared and secured with a bit of clear silicone. Have shot ~200 rounds with it and still looks and functions fine.
I have Dawson FO front sights on most of my handguns and find them indispensable for aging eyes or anyone who wants an advantage in obtaining a fast sight picture. In time, solvents, muzzle blast, barrier damage,etc. may require you to replace the fiber optic rod in your sight. You may just want to chage colors! Following Dave's video instruction couldn't be easier. If you want the brightest sights and the easiest installation I have to say do youself a favor and buy this product!
I've used other fiber optic from other company's and it just wasn't cutting it. Even in the sunlight it didn't jump out at you. I ordered Dawson's Fiber Red and Green and it jumps right out at you. Much faster picking up front sight drawing from holster. Thanks Dawson Precision.
