Perfect for me
Using in USPSA production. Not too heavy or oversized to kick me out of that division, and gives the mag a solid feel for seating.
Description
Glock® magazines have a unique design which keeps their baseplates solidly locked into the mag tubes. But let's be honest — they can be a real pain to take apart for cleaning and maintenance. It is with that thought in mind that we created our EZ-Off Baseplate for Glock® magazines.
These extended baseplates are CNC machined from billet aluminum and uniquely designed to ease the installation and removal of the baseplate to the mag body. In addition, they DO NOT ADD CAPACITY and each weigh 1 oz., making them legal for USPSA®, IDPA, and IPSC® competition*. And, of course, the taller baseplates also help facilitate reloads when using a magwell.
*After installation, check to ensure that your gun still fits the appropriate box as guns vary dimensionally.
DISCLAIMER: This WILL NOT FIT Glock® 10mm or .45 ACP caliber magazines.

Well made and easy to install. Makes magazine changes fast during competition.
Quality product fits my Glock mags perfectly. Used for Glock 34 for IDPA. Fits in ESP box with ICE Magwell with +200 size although a tight fit. Works extremely well with the magwell.
I received the Ice Magwell and installed it. During the install I had an issue (my fault) and you were able to walk me through and correct the problem. I now oredered the EZ-OFF extensions for my Gloick 34 mags. Easy to install and made the magazine a snap to load. The products met my expectations and then some. I will be ordering maore items for my Glock 17. Thank you.
I went with the .300 basepads for my G35 with the SIC Magwell. Works great. I had a few issues with other company’s basepads not fitting right with my magwell but Dawson’s are perfect.
I bought these base plates because they add no capacity and we're half the price of the competition. I've had bad luck with reliability for capacity extended base plates(even with extra power springs) so I needed something to just give me more real estate on the end of the mag to remove it, and insert it. The reliability of my mags is paramount over capacity because I carry my pistol at work for self defense. I have the Magpul magwell (Gen4 Glock 17) and the factory base plates fit near flush with the base of the magwell. Sometimes, my hand would impact the magwell before the magazine was fully seated on a closed chamber resulting in a failure to seat the mag. With these base plates, I can now seat the mag just as easy and faster than a stock Glock. I keep a .100 in my pistol because I didn't want the base plate extending too much to the point where someone could grab on to it and pull it out. I use the .200s on my three mags on my belt. If I we're using these plates on a Glock with no magwell, the .100s would be fine. I can't say they assist me in removing the base plates. Glock mags are notoriously difficult to remove the base plates. I still have to put mine in a vise and use a few punches to remove them. The finish and construction of the base plates are top notch, I don't see how they could get any better. I made 3 separate orders for base plates and I received in exactly 3 days. That's great considering they went from Texas to CA.
I purchased these base plates to use with my 17 round factory mags in my G34 with magwell. They fit perfectly and protrude just enough from the bottom ( +200) to be able to push up with the palm of the hand. While the base plates don't give added capacity ( I wasn't looking for that) they maintain the OEM spring and follower allowing for total reliability.
The Dawson Precision baseplate went on easier than the OEM baseplates came off.Good looking easy add on.
Top quality and fit my needs!!
