Glock® magazines have a unique design which keeps their baseplates solidly locked into the mag tubes. But let's be honest — they can be a real pain to take apart for cleaning and maintenance. It is with that thought in mind that we created our EZ-Off Baseplate for Glock® magazines.
These extended baseplates are CNC machined from billet aluminum and uniquely designed to ease the installation and removal of the baseplate to the mag body. In addition, they DO NOT ADD CAPACITY and each weigh 1 oz., making them legal for USPSA®, IDPA, and IPSC® competition*. And, of course, the taller baseplates also help facilitate reloads when using a magwell.

These base plates are extremely well made and very well machined from top grade material. Gives the magazine enough weight that it drops out easily for fast reloads.

This product is well made and relatively easy to install if you are familiar with Glock magazines. As an IDPA participant I have found these bases have made my reloading sequence faster and easier. They also add enough weight to the magazine for a faster cleaner drop out when pressing the release button.

Ideal Glock 26/27 Mag Extension

The .300 inch EZ-Off magazine extensions are a perfect solution for enhancing the short Glock G26/27 grip. With the .300 extension a solid three finger grip is now possible (male, medium size hand) even with shooting gloves. I shoot IDPA and these magazine extensions meet all rule requirements (as of Jan 2018) for size and weight (gun and/or magazine) to include fitting inside the box. With the added weight an empty mag now clears the well faster and easier than OEM mags. The notched base aligns with mag well for a solid lock in. Multi-color options allow easier identification of training magazine vs carry magazine. One issue: the aluminum is a little too smooth (for my taste) and tends to easily slip during handling. The fix is adding grip tape and DP offers custom fit tape that wraps on the bottom and front of the extension. I added a little more to the sides and the matter is resolved. NOTE: IDPA box fit is a little tight at this point but workable. Possible long term issue: drop damage as there is no give in the metal. Overall, an excellent product; well thought out and manufactured. I have eight magazine converted.

I ordered these (+200) base plates for my Glock 17 to be used in SSP. Excellent product and gives extra weight for the mag change which now drops faster. Also easier to clean.

I've been looking for some aluminum extended base plates for a custom glock 19 build. When I stumbled across the Dawson Precision base plates in a glock forum. I ordered 6 of the black 200mm base plates and they are awesome. Fit, machining, and color are all perfect. Mags drop free easier and faster, plus they look awesome. I liked them so much I ordered 6 more in silver. Overall you won't find a better base plate for the price.

Excellent quality, as is every other Dawson product I've used. These make cleaning and spring changes far easier, and they look sharp on the duty belt, too.

The +.300 were a great fit for my Glock 34 for SSP and Production. They are very well made and are easy to install. With a .225 Tall rear sight there is plenty of room to spare in the IDPA/USPSA 'box'. They provide a noticeably better purchase on the magazine as they come out of the mag pouch and into the magwell. Plus they are at a great price.

The hardest part of the installation is taking the factory baseplate off. The install after that takes seconds. I purchased the 200 length and it fits flush with my Carver Custom magazine well...the weight drops the magazine quicklyly with out any extra effort on your part.
