While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, Dawson Precision® sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.

Great product great price

I wanted to switch out my front night sight for a fiber optic for faster target acquisition for shooting IDPA. Dawson was an obvious choice as per my and my shooting buddies' previous experiences with them. Sight arrived the same week I ordered it (standard shipping) and I was able to install it myself with the aid of the aluminum punch provided with the sight, Dave's instruction video, a file and a bit of patience. Excellent result and it saved me a trip to the local gunsmith and $35!

Great Sight

The sight I purchased is exactly what I wanted, the right height and the option for width is nice. I never fitted a sight before and the instructions that came with sight where excellent. I will purchase sights again when the need arises. Thanks

Exactly what I needed

I was looking for a fiber optic to replace the stock black. This fit that purpose for my Kimber stainless target 9mm. A little fitting was expected to fit it in there at the tightness desired. It's a quality part as promised.

Straightforward Installation and Great Improvement

The headline says it all. I've purchased Dawson sights before, and I've installed them fairly easily. The sights fit perfectly, and they really improved the sight picture on my Kimber Pro Carry II. The choices, based on existing dimensions turned out to be exactly correct. I measured the Dawson sight, and compared it to the existing Kimber sight, and they were an exact match. They require minimal filling of the sight, and the supplied punch works very easily, and nearly eliminates the possibility of marring the slide. I took the pistol to a local range, and in the dim light, the fiber optic really magnified the available light. While these aren't tritium, they work great. Great product!

Front sight plus service

Already installed and tested. Exactly what I thought it would be. Improving transitioning from one target to the next is what I hoped to accomplish and changing out the front sight did just that. Also, not being sure of the right sight for my Kimber I attached a statement asking for conformation. Thank's to Houston and his follow up phone call I got the right sight. Great item and Excellent Customer Service.
