Exactly what I was looking for. With this and the fiber optic front sight i can actually see what im shooting at now. The night sights that came with my gun were useless in the daylight. Wouldn't hesitate to buy these again for my next pistol.
I got one of the early STI Costa Carry Comp models. It was shooting consistently low (8" at 20 yards). I could dial it in with this sight and now put it right on the bulls eye.
I did have a gunsmith remove the factory rear sight and install the Dawson Precision Adjustable sight. After a few adjustments at the range it was exactly what I wanted. Very easy to pick up the front sight for double taps. I will order from them again after my Kimber comes in.
I paired this with the Dawson.190 tall front fiber optic and it was a perfect match. I had to file a small amount of metal from the rear dovetail but the sight went on easily. Great product by Dawson.

Another quality part. I do wonder why, at the full down position, the movable body isn't parallel to the bottom of the dovetail. Also, an installation sketch, with dimensions, would be quite helpful. when machining a new slide with no sight cuts. Those additions would deserve the fifth star.

I wanted my daily SR1911 to have some adjustable sights for different loads without having to mill the slide out and this was exactly what was needed. The sights did come very over sized in comparison to my Ruger's novak cut so a lot of filing was needed. Very snug fit which was to my liking after the filing and sights work great
luckily i found a message that a user said he had to do a lot of filing so the sight would fit the slide. The angle is not the same on the sight as the slide. but it is in and working great with the .180 dawson front sight.
