Not sure what to rate, Dawson or the front sight. First, customer service is second to none. The Dawson team is great and very knowledgeable. As to the front and rear sights, I only use Dawson: two reasons, 1) great customer service, 2) very well made sights. Fiber optic is bright, accurate and they send drift punch with every sight, the sight calculator is great. Their prices are very competitive and have a no hassle guarantee.
The sight was the usual quality that I'm used to, well made, good fit. I had to do a small amount of filing to the slide and I was in business. That is why I continue to buy DP. I have a number of 1911's and CZ's they all have DP frt sights.
Great front sight! I ordered the .90 width fiber optic and is great. Plenty of light around the front sight for fast shooting yet still extremely easy to shoot very accurately.
Put this on my Les Baer & it really helps my tired old eyes with acquiring the sight picture quickly. Needed some fitting to install, but that's better than being loose.
