Description

Is there really a difference with Dawson Precision® sights? You bet there is!

While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, Dawson Precision® sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.

Sight Details:

  • DESIGNED FOR Smith & Wesson® Classic and DX revolvers.
  • Counter Bored Optic: Keeps sight picture CLEAR and BRIGHT.
  • Wide Base: Provides added mounting strength.
  • No Glare Serrated Front of Sight
  • Extra Optic Included – Both Red and Green

    Great sights

Sight was on the gun in 30 seconds, perfect fit and allows for improved accuracy. Now have Dawson sights on 4 of my guns

    Very Bright, Well Made

Posted by Scott on Jun 18th 2018

Compared to a set of factory HI-VIZ on another gun, these are much brighter and a very crisp sight picture. Have not shot with them yet, but know they are gonna be awesome!

    Perfect

Every thing they say about this sight is true, nice sharp dot image, tight fit and I especially liked the little shelf that rest upon the revolvers rib.

    Perfect for 686 Pro SSR

Posted by Wes on Jan 5th 2018

The .250 tall and .100 wide worked perfect with the factor rear, on my 686 SSR Pro. One quick tip for that gun and all dx style front sights...it’s not required to remove the roll pin in order to install this sight. That’s what makes this build so great. Just press/slide the sight back ( significant pressure) then up and it will come out. Also, be careful not to let the front sight plunger/spring shoot out....”a friend told me” it will take forever to find that little thing, if it does shoots across your garage!!!

    Great Product for S&W revolver

Posted by Roger on Sep 15th 2017

This is an excellent product 5* , and made a world of difference in my shooting accuracy on My Smith and Wesson Revolver. Greatly improved the visibility over my stock all black front sight. Highly recommend for easy of assembly and cost.

So much better than stock sights!

Posted by Nathaniel on Jul 24th 2017

I replaced my overly thick front sight on my 627 pro with a .225 x .100 fiber optic front and the gun became so much easier for me to shoot. My eyes pick up the fiber optic much quicker and the extra light on either side of the sight help me shoot the gun better. Well made, like everything from Dawson precision. I liked my 627 before, but now I love it, thank you!

    Great sights!

Posted by Mike Nguyen on May 17th 2017

I'm running these front sights (.225" Tall x .125" Wide Ramped Serrated) on both my Smith and Wesson 325 Thunder Ranch .45acp and 327 TRR8 .357mag. I couldn't be happier how they light up a great sight picture. Replaceable fiber rods a big plus! Thanks Dawson Precision!

    Much improved sight picture.

Posted by Jim on Apr 17th 2017

Easy to install. Installed .25" high x .110" wide blade on S&W 629 Classic 5" barrel, replacing .25" high x .125 wide factory sight. Elevation unchanged. Increased light gap between front sight & rear notch make sight picture much clearer.

    Awesome

Posted by David on Mar 28th 2017

I was shooting a Hi-Viz sight but the post was the same size as the notch and this didn't allow for enough precision on longer shots. This sight is much better, easier to pick up, brighter and allows for faster more accurate shots.
