Is there really a difference with Dawson Precision® sights? You bet there is!

While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, Dawson Precision® sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.

    Exactly what I needed

    I needed a lower front sight for my STI and Dawson had the right size and fit to do what I needed. Their customer service was very helpful as well.

    Excellent fiber optic front sight!! The dot is very bright yet it is well defined as a result of the fiber being recessed into the sight. This is a high quality sight that required only minor fitting to my STI Trojan. Dawson Precision is great to do business with.

    Great front sight

    I've put Dawson front sights on most of my serious pistols, for both defensive and competitive purposes. They numerous options for width, height and configuration (plain black, tritium, fiber) allow me to obtain the sight picture I prefer. Thanks!

    Great easy to see

    This is a fast acquisition bright sight although I do not like Red Fiber Optics it was easily replaced with the included green version.

    Nice sight but the Sight calculator was off, finish is fragile

    Nice sight; functionally great. However, the sight calculator is a great idea, BUT it calculated a .145" tall front sight for a 2011 STI Hex 9mm. POI is 2" high at 30yds. Also, the black oxide(?) finish is pretty fragile. I used the aluminum punch that is included(nice touch), followed the instructions by filing the front angle of the base, and even filed the bottom a little bit but still managed to marr the sight a little. Kind of gives a dingy look to such a nice front sight and pistol.
