This sight was used to replace an old FO front sight on my Trojan. It fit easily with no file work at all on the sight, I just broke the top edge on the sight dovetail as shown in the video. Degrease, Loc-Tite, and tapped in with a tight fit. The counter bored optic had less "halo" than the old sight, a noticeable difference. Nice to have a sight right on the right dimensions to file or beat on too hard to install.
I use Dawson Precision sights on all my competition guns. They are bright and easy to fit.

I have been using these sights for several years now. I run them on my Glocks and my STI. None better in my opinion.
I've been using the Dawson fibre optic sights for probably 10+ years, and they're still the best on the market.
Just what I needed. Watched the video, and did the install. You do have to fit these sights. Not a difficult task.
It requires some fitting with a small file and some patients. The supplied tool works great for removal and installation. I have several Dawson front sights on my guns and never a failure with 12 years of competitive shooting, practice, a national championship, several regional and local titles. Put one on my carry gun.
