It takes some fitting and knowledge of how to shape the nose and relief cut for the magazine, but this part worked like a charm. Took my SPS Pantera to the range today to test it out and had zero ejection issues. The 2011 drill bit is too big for a SPS Pantera if anyone else needs to know. Get the 1911 reverse drill bit.
with some minor fitting. works great! having the reverse drill bit made it easier. only took a few minutes to fit. just a little filing on the underside, to keep from hitting magazine.
If you're tuning a problematic gun the extended ejector is a great place to start. Plenty to work with but some guns will run best with it at full length to start the ejection process sooner.
The ejector has enough material to let you really fit it. Work slowly with files to get the right fit and ejection.
A perfect cut, ready to go. I would recommend purchasing the correct left twist drill bit for a flawless installation.
