The first one I got worked with any primers as expected but broke after only about 600+ rounds. I’m giving it another try.

Worked great in my Taurus PT1911 38 Super. No more misfires from primer strikes that were too light!

I worked hard to get the trigger pull down to (can't tell) on my S&W PC1911 and as a result, I would get 2-3 misfires per 100 rounds using Winchester primers. Not wanting to change from my all time favorite primers, I purchased the extended firing pin and life is good! Other club members did the same to correct their problems. These guys also never gave up helping me with a sight problem. All it takes is a call for some great help!

I installed this in a Sig Sauer Max Michel in 45 because I was getting light strikes with my handloads. This pin eliminated the issue.

This extended firing pin makes sure you have consistent ignition. Pair it with an extra power firing pin spring and you'll have 99% reliability. The 1% left can be due to high primers especially if you reload

I have 2 .45 acp's that had light primer strikes.
These pins fixed the problem with a minimum of work.
    Try them.

The Dawson Extended Firing Pin has solved my problems with having light strikes in my 1911 because of very light springs.
