Description

Is there really a difference with Dawson Precision® sights? You bet there is!

While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, Dawson Precision® sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.

Sight Details:

  • FITS FN Herstal Five-seveN® pistols.
  • Counter Bored Optic: Keeps sight picture CLEAR and BRIGHT.
  • Dark Shadow Serrations: BLACKOUT blade and ENHANCE optic.

Install was relatively easy. On my USG. Only problems were removing the old front sight and having to finesse the reinstallation of the loaded chamber indicator and spring when reinstalling the slide cover which requires NO modification

Perfect. Fast acquisition with the red insert (haven't tried green). Pretty sure I'm going to love it.

After some confusion about the correct model sight, I received the correct sight. It needed a minimum of fitting and fit as well as the original. Dawson Customer Service went above and beyond to make sure that I got the correct sight, thank you very much.

Really like the sight, great improvement over tithe stock site.

But expect to spend some time fitting, it took about 1/2 hour for a good gunsmith to install. Not a sight for a amateur to install, the sight is not even close to the correct size. But it's worth the effort.

After purchasing the sight i started reading blogs about installing and it sounds as though the shroud has to be modified to fit. I wish it was the same size at the base so no mod was needed. I'll install it just will have to allot more time for fitting.
