Pure Tungsten is heavy.....very heavy.....compared to the plastic guide rod in the factory G43 or the G43X the Pure Tungsten Guide Rod for the G43 or the G43X/48 is 4.5x heavier.

Product Details:

Standard Power is the factory weight spring and some find it very stiff.
The extra weight of the Pure Tungsten guide rod helps reduce muzzle flip and felt recoil enabling you to shoot faster and more accurately with tighter groups especially during rapid fire shooting.

Plastic weight= 9.5 grams/0.33 ounces
Heavy Tungsten = 28 grams/0.98 ounces
Pure Tungsten = 53 grams/1.86 ounces
