This Low Profile Mag Button won't release when you lay a pistol on a flat surface or when you're shooting. Because it is so low, it doesn't interfere when you don't want it to. it will, however, make it easy to release your magazine for fast reloads.

Well made. I ordered the 4-40 in black/blue which is essentially black and has a nice texture to it. It went on in 3 seconds. I installed it on the STI Costa Comp and a DVC 3-gun. I emailed customer service to tell me what thread size I need and they responded quickly and said STI uses the 4-40. It doesn't protrude much which is good but does give you a wider footprint for faster mag drops. Very nice I must say.

Purchased this item in stainless for my STI 2011. With the high grip I use, this mag release is the perfect size. Never gets bumped on accident, and gives just the reach/leverage on the release I was looking for. Another quality product from Dawson that shipped same day. (A small drop of blue Loctite is all this requires. )

Installed easily on my Warwick 2011 and works like a charm. Just the right size; not too intrusive or too small to do any good. Used some blue thread lock as seen in previous reviews.
