I did my homework before I picked up 5 of these magazines for my Kimber Camp Guard 10. All of the Tripp magazines function perfectly right out of the package. They don't fit flush even without the polymer base pad, but that's not an issue for me and it provides an extra round in capacity. Will buy more when I need additional mags.
I've used Tripp Magazines before, and I found these to be just as reliable as the others I have. They are solid feeling, and feed perfectly. The follower locks back the slide on my Springfield TRP 10mm every time. I would recommend these in the appropriate caliber for any 1911 platform.

Top notch magazines in 10MM and 9MM. Used the 10 in Colt Delta no failures to feed any hollow point brand and 9MM IN MY ED BROWN COBRA COMMANDER. No problem their either. Rate them as good as my Wilson’s and Checkmates and Chip McCormicks. Plan to purchase more. Price is competitive , free shipping made it a done deal.
Tripp Research is a great American company. I contacted their support due to a minor issue with one of the 10mm mags I ordered (failure to lock back), which certainly could have been self-induced. Aaron and Virgil were excellent to deal with. Aaron went above and beyond in his email correspondence with me. He did not rest until he was certain that I was 100% taken care of. After a minor adjustment, everything functioned perfectly. Even though things are working 100%, Aaron is going to send me a replacement follower to ensure I can swap out if the issue resurfaces down the road. Great products, great support, great staff. My buddy, a longtime 1911 owner was very impressed the quality of Tripp Research's magazines, and said he needed to order some immediately. Will order again! Thank you!
