I was having problems with a New American Classic 9mm 1911 pistol that I keep having nose dive issues with. I sent the gun in for service and was told everything was fine, but I still was having the same problems after being worked on. I then purchased one Tripp Research 10 Round Magazine and everything worked as it should, problems solved. The problem was the factory Mec-Gar mags that were provided. Ill be getting more Tripp Magazines. The Magazine quality is great. The follower systems on the Tripp Magazines makes a big difference on how the bullet feeds a 9mm.

I have always been a Wilson mag user until I discovered Tripp mags. Tripp mags are finished to a much higher degree than Wilson or any other mags on the market. I have Tripp 1911 mags in 9 mm, 38 Super, 10 mm, and .45 and have never had an issue with either caliber. Function is flawless with everything from semi wad cutters to flying ashtray hollow points, and are used in my Wilson, Colt, Kimber, and S&W 1911 pistols.

  7. 9 mil Mag has spacer

The Tripp Research 9 mm magazine was recommended by shooting friends that have used them for a season. They told me it stopped a problem they had from rounds nosing down since it had no spacer in the back of the magazine tube. I ordered one to test. Construction seemed to be OK but may not as nice as the Wilson unit. It is impossible to load to 10 round with out a magazine loading device such as a Lula, the Wilson as well. With the slide down it is difficult to get the mag to "click" in, it must be slammed, the Wilson not as much. In shooting some drills I dropped the magazine out on the fifth round and a round got loose. I noticed the next round starting to slide forward. I now am wondering if there is more than one Tripp 10 round magazine model. I am planing on shooting the next season with a 1911 format 9 mm and need reliable magazines. I will continue testing with factory rounds and reload of various nose configurations.

Returned to buy more. Love the free Shipping . You can’t go wrong with Tripp Magazines. Use in Kimber , Colt , Ed Brown. Never a problem in any Government or Commander size pistols.

These magazines have functioned flawlessly in my DW Silverback. I prefer the Tripp Research followers over the other brands. The Tripp 9mm and 45acp magazines always seem to work for me without fail.
