With that in mind, we've developed an aluminum mainspring housing that is a direct replacement in the 1911 ICE® Magwell system. Weighing in at a mere 0.60 oz., this aluminum mainspring housing reduces weight over the steel mainspring housing allowing your 1911 to make weight in your division.
