PAYMENT
Payment Methods
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. If you're ordering with a credit card, your shipping address must be the same as the billing address of your credit card statements. This is for your protection. If you are mailing to your office, work, or any address different than your billing address, you may be asked to provide additional information to process your order.
Pending Charges
Orders that were unable to be completed through the website, and any attempts made to try and complete the order, will show up on your bank account as a "pending charge." With that being said, it may take up to two (2) days for the charge to fall off your account. In the rare instance that the payment has posted to your account, you will need to contact your bank directly to get more information.
Gift / Pre-Paid Cards
Unfortunately, orders cannot be placed through the website using a gift or pre-paid card. Orders must have a verifiable billing and shipping address in order to be completed. Due to the card not having a physical billing address, the order cannot be processed. Furthermore, our sales team will also be unable to place the order over the phone using the gift or pre-paid card.
Coupon Codes / Gift Certificates
Coupon codes and gift certificates can be entered either when viewing the shopping cart or the first page during the checkout process. When viewing the shopping cart, click "Add Coupon" or "Gift Certificate" to input the appropriate code. During the checkout process, there is a text field under "Promo/Gift Certificate" to input the appropriate code. All discounts will automatically be applied to your cart with the eligible products.
SHIPPING
Shipping Methods
We strive to process each order as quickly as possible. All orders will be processed and leave our facility within 24-48 hours, not including weekends or holidays. If you placed your order late on a Friday, on a weekend or holiday, please allow an additional day for processing time. Furthermore, we cannot control the delays and mistakes occasionally made by shipping carriers. In effort to minimize inconveiences, we offer several shipping options at checkout.
Dawson Precision, Inc. offers Free Shipping on all orders $50.00 or more (exclusions apply due to an order's size and/or weight). Orders with "Free Shipping" will ship USPS® First-Class Mail® unless it does not meet the weight requirement. Dawson Precision, Inc. reserves the right to choose the shipping method and carrier on all "Free Shipping" orders.
United States Postal Service® (USPS®):
- First-Class Mail®: (less than 13oz) May take up to two (2) weeks for delivery.
- Priority Mail®: (less than 2lbs) May take over one (1) week for delivery.
- All pistol orders will ship USPS® Priority Mail®.
United Postal Service® (UPS®):
- Ground: (less than 5lbs) Please see the UPS® Delivery Chart for estimated delivery times. – Additional charges for Alaska and Hawaii may apply.
- We recommend expedited UPS® if you need your products sooner. The delivery date is time in transit (excludes processing time and Saturday/Sunday delivery).
- All orders containing hazmat, aerosols, or pistol slides will ship UPS® Ground.
Signature Required Shipping
If your order is over $500, or contains a red dot sight, your shipment will likely be sent as "signature required." If you would prefer that your order be shipped "signature required" regardless of the dollar amount, you must call in to place your order and ask the sales member to ship it that way. Orders with a "signature required" shipment requires that the recipient (or a responsible person at the residence) be present to sign for the item.
International Orders
Dawson Precision's policy on international orders is to sell only through our established distributor network. We do not accept any individual orders outside of the United States or its territories. A list of distributors, or exporters, can be on our 'Contact Us' page.
RETURNS
Here at Dawson precision, Inc., we want you to be 100% satisfied with every purchase. With that in mind, as well as a few restrictions, we will gladly accept your return if they fall within the 30-day period after your order was delivered.
Customer satification is our #1 priority! If you need to return a product, for any reason, please read the information below. Only products in new and unused condition will be accepted for return. It is your responsibility to properly and securely package items being returned. It is recommended that you return items in the original shipping box; a letter envelope will not be accepted for items.
Special orders will not be accepted for return.
30-Day Return Policy
If, for any reason, you are not satisifed with the order you received, you are able to return it within 30 days of when it was marked "Delivered." You can request to return your item(s) for a full refund, exchange, or replacement. Call our customer service team at (866) 300-1911, to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number and instructions on how to return your product(s) to us.
If you returned a product(s) used to qualify for our Free Shipping promotion, and the return reduces the order subtotal to less than the amount needed to qualify for Free Shipping, we will deduct the cost of shipping from the refund. You will be responsible for paying for shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you are having zeroing issues with your Dawson Precision® Perfect Impact® sights or sight sets, refer to the 'Perfect Impact® Promise' section below.
Order Was Damaged / Incorrectly Filled
If your order has been damaged en route or incorrectly filled, call our customer service team at (866) 300-1911. We will investigate the situation further to determine the best resolution for you to ensure you are satifised with your purchase.
BACK ORDERS
On domestic back orders, items will be shipped via Free Standard Shipping. Free Standard Shipping does not apply to single item orders.
On international back orders, items will only be back ordered if prepaid. Customers may request partial shipment, but will be charged shipping on each partial shipment.
RESTRICTED ORDERS
While we make every effort to update our terms and conditions to reflect state and federal laws, the information contained on this page may not always be current or all-inclusive. New gun laws are always being passed, so it is your responsibility to know and understand all current laws governing the sale, transport, making of, and ownership of a firearm and accessories in your state. Any orders placed that cannot be fulfilled due to certain state or federal laws will be subject to an automatic cancellation and refund.
Shipment of products is prohibited to states and locales with restrictions against those certain parts and accessories. Federal legislation dictates we cannot ship our products internationally. Before placing an order, please review the below shipping restrictions to ensure we can complete your order. State laws change frequently, and this list is not guaranteed to be inclusive of all state firearm restrictions. You must check your local and state laws to verify you may legally purchase, receive, and possess our products before ordering.
Any orders placed that cannot be fulfilled because of certain state or federal laws will be subject to an automatic cancellation and refund. If you are authorized law enforcement, you will be required to provide valid credentials for us to move forward in processing the order.

PERFECT IMPACT® PROMISE
Dawson Precision, Inc. is the only manufacturer in the industry to provide quality customer service even beyond the purchase of your sight set. We will help get your pistol zeroed.
WHAT IS THE PERFECT IMPACT® SIGHT PROMISE?
If you purchase a set of Dawson Precision® Perfect Impact® sights, either a set or a rear with the recommended front sight height, we promise the Dawson Precision® sights will zero your pistol.
If the Dawson Precision® recommended sights do not zero your pistol, we will give you one new front sight that has the required height to correct the point of impact to your specifications, free of charge.
If we do not currently offer the height you need, we will custom make the height you need to correct the point of impact to your specifications. (The width of the front sight must always be the same as the original sight in the set.)
WHAT IF I HAVE A DIFFERENT MANUFACTURER SIGHT?
If you purchase another manufacturer’s rear sight from us along with a Dawson Precision® front sight, we will still go above and beyond to get you zeroed. If the sights do not zero your pistol, we will give you a 50% discount on another Dawson Precision® Perfect Impact® front sight that has the required height to correct the point of impact to your specification.
If we do not currently offer the height you need, we will custom make the height you need to correct the point of impact to your specifications. (The width of the front sight must always be the same as the original sight in the set.)
If you purchase another manufacturer’s sight set, a non-Dawson front sight and a non-Dawson rear sight, you must handle any zeroing issue through the manufacturer.
HOW DO I REDEEM MY PERFECT IMPACT® SIGHT PROMISE?
In the rare instance you need to use the Perfect Impact® Sight Promise, here is what to do:
- Shoot and Measure: Shoot your pistol at the distance you wish to zero and measure the sight radius, point of impact, and target distance.
- Contact Us: With your measurements in hand, send us an email at perfectimpact@dawsonprecision.com and we will help you find your perfect sight. Be sure to include your phone number in case we need further details.
- Sight Shipped: Most sights ship out the very next day. If a custom sight height is needed, more time may be required.
The Perfect Impact® Sight Promise applies only to retail Dawson Precision® Perfect Impact® sight sets purchased directly from Dawson Precision®. Policy subject to change. Revised 11/13/2025.
