Its 34mm maintube provides enough travel to take advantage of that extra power and the CDS-TZL3 dial takes target-style adjustments to a new level with a push-button locking feature and an easy-to-read revolution indicator.

- 6:1 ZOOM RATIO: A versatile 6:1 zoom ratio gives you 6 times more magnification at high power than at low power (model magnification ranges are available in powers of 6x: 1-6, 2-12, 3-18, 4-24, etc.), so you can dial your power way down for close encounters or all of the way up for long-range shots. The larger the zoom ratio, the more versatile one scope can be.
- HIGH-DEFINITION PERFORMANCE: Guard-ion is a hydrophobic lens coating that sheds dirt and water for a maintenance-free, clear, crisp image.
- GUARD-ION LENS COATING: In Second Focal Plane (rear focal plane) scopes, the reticle stays the same size while the target grows and shrinks when you adjust the magnification. These reticles are ideal for lowlight hunting situations and in scopes that don't utilize hash marks for range estimation.
- CUSTOM DIAL SYSTEM®: Leupold's Custom Dial System® (CDS®) gives you the ability to customize your turret (adjustment dial) to your exact ballistics and environmental conditions. Once your new custom dial is installed, simply range the target, turn the dial to that number, and aim dead on.
- ILLUMINATED RETICLE: This scope comes with an illuminated reticle, which creates a visible aiming point for greater accuracy in low-light conditions.
- MOTION SENSOR TECHNOLOGY (MST™): Motion Sensor Technology (MST™) extends battery life by automatically deactivating illuminated reticles after five minutes of inactivity and then reactivates instantly as soon as movement is detected.
