These rubber buffers fit between the slide and the face of the guide rod to eliminate metal to metal contact; they do not cause malfunctions by blowing up, cutting, or tearing.
Place these buffs at the end of your guide rod to help dampen felt recoil and keep your shots level.

Does not seem as dense as my Wilson Combat ones. Make sure you can still "slingshot" your slide or if you shoot competitively it doesn't matter as long as it cycles.
Couldn't hurt

Save some strain on your pistol and some wear and tear on your hands. Also reduces overall slide travel so function test before use.
