This is now my 2nd case gauge (the first one being the 45ACP Silver) and I and really liking being able to easily check 100% of my rounds. All my rounds get checked now, much better than the 10% I was trying to do before at a much slower rate. Just a little more peace of mind... The 9mm case gauge is the same superb quality I found with the 45 ACP case gauge. I'll be using these a long time!
The price is a bit steep, but the quality of workmanship and the time savings for checking every round is worth it! Have used the 45 ACP version twice now and am loving it. I especially like the option of loading finished rounds into the block and then transferring directly into a plastic storage box! I'm saving up for the 9mm version next...
Guts down on your reloading and insures that the rounds will chamber. The feature to add completed rounds to a 100 Round Plastic Box is a real time saver.
I box all reloads into the common 100 round plastic boxes, and this Shockbottle case gauge just makes all the chamber checking super fast. Then, when you get them all in the case gauge you just line it up with your ammo box and flip them in and you're all set. Expensive, but quality MaDe in the USA and a REAL timesaver. Another example of "you get what you pay for" and once you own it the sting of the purchase price vaporizes!
Fantastic product! By using the shockbottle case/chamber gauge I KNOW that the rounds will cycle in my CZ Shadow (somewhat more finicky than my Glock 34). This way, if I want to load a few hundred for Match use, it is just one extra step for a guarantee they will work. Fantastic product. Definitely beats taking the barrel out of the gun to check each round! Worth the money for sure!
Easily catches an oversized brass. Actually has about 7 to 10% overkill. Those overkill rounds it catches will virtually all "barrel check" and cycle fine in CZ's, which can be fussy. Only the odd one does not.
Saves a lot of time.
This makes case gauging and checking for high primers quick and easy.
Just recently received the case gauge in 9mm and have gauged about 1K rounds already. I'm reloading on a Dillon 650 and out of each 100 rounds that I gauge, I'll find anywhere from 1-5 rounds that won't gauge properly so I gauge them in the Dillon single round gauge and if they pass, they go into my practice ammo pile. This gauge is a bit tighter than the Dillon so everything that fits this 100 round gauge automatically becomes match ammo for me. I would highly recommend the gauge to anyone that shoots and reloads in bulk. I'll probably pick up
