    What a great product. I couldn't see the factory black sight at indoor ranges. The fiber optic is so easy to see.

    Installation was simple. Remove the old sight, slide the new one in, Take it back out to add locktite, install, check center with calipers and tighten the setscrews.

    I'm no gunsmith and I did the installation in 10 minutes.

    Used the height calculator, ordered the sights, followed instructions and went to the range, zeroed and I can now shoot targets in half at 15 yards when they are folded to a 2 1/4" width with a variety of ammunition.. Wow simplicity for installation and now this has become my favorite 22 pistol.

    My new Colt Gold Cup Trophy 22lr pistol shot low when I received it from the vendor. I adjusted the rear sight to raise the shot pattern, but it failed it raise the pattern high enough. Consequently, I began shopping for a new longer front sight and found the Dawson Precision front sights for my gun. The sight was priced right and fit perfectly and it solved my problem.

    Very easy to install this front site.. The site comes with a teflon tipped punch that made removal of the original one dot site easy. (Hopefully you have your own small hammer.) The new new site just slid into place. No need of filing or adjustment to ease installation. Just go for it. You won't regret it. Very cool upgrade to a Colt 1911-22 rail gun.
