I have been using these springs for years in my competition STI pistols. They work very well, and will hold their spring rate for many thousands of rounds. You can't go wrong.

I have used Wolff springs before and always liked them. Consistent and well finished.
The Dawson recoil guide rod was also made well. It is polished nicely and feels weighty which translates to quality. Didn't have to do anything to fit it to my Colt Competition 9mm. Love it.

I had a different 1911 years ago that had feeding problems. I spoke with the fine people at Dawson Precision and they recommended this set to me and how to install it l. Got it home and my gun worked just like new. I would recommend anything that Dawson Precision sells as its of such good quality, and the staff is pleasant to work with.
