Recoil Springs

For use in:

Colt® 1911, 1911A1, 1991, Government, MKIV and Gold Cup® models

Each Wolff recoil spring for Colt® pistols INCLUDES an extra power firing pin spring. All springs are produced from Wolff proprietary HTCS spring material except as noted.

CONVENTIONAL RECOIL SPRINGS - .45 ACP

  • Reduced Power: 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 lb.
  • Factory Standard: 16 lb.
  • Extra Power: 17 and 18.5 lb.

    Typical Wolff spring, works as expected and nicely packaged and clearly labeled if you carry multiple weights in a spare parts kit.

    Purchased 2- 9lb springs for a 9mm. Tested both of them as soon as I got them and got a perfect 9lb weight on both. Right on target.

    Changing from 14# DVC spring to 12# Wolff spring resulted in faster split time on doubles, with no increase in felt recoil. Very happy with results.

    Run Wolff springs in all of my various pistols. Been very happy with them over the years. Especially in my 1911's. Highly recommend.

    Never fails to please........use these in my Edge....never let me down...comes with replacement firing pin spring as well.
