This is my favorite site for the Novak cut guns. I have this sight on three STI pistols! I keep spares handy though as I have yet to get 10,000 rounds on one without breaking the back area around the windage adjustment screw!
Awesome sight if you want to add an adjustable sight to your Novak cut guns BUT it will take a little fitting to make it right. Get out your patience and a file to fit it right as it is not a drop in fit!
Without a doubt some of the best customer service in the business. Required a little file work, a little bluing and did exactly what needed. Thank you.
I have this sight along with a Trijicon front sight on my carry gun. A Springfield RO Champion. Very happy
had this installed on my Springfield 1911 chambered in 9mm... It works. After reviewing many sights. I'm pretty confident I will only use Dawson for any of my pistols.
First, a huge compliment for Mr. Dawson. I called twice in the same day with typical dumbbell questions and he not only didn't condescend like some salesmen, but he showed a willingness to share his extensive expertise and educate me on a couple of issues. Because of that we got the right items the first time.
Secondly, the sight itself is very well made and sits nice and compactly while giving me the ability to place the target where I like it rather than adapting to it's preset position. It looks bulletproof. Great purchase
The blade had play and able to move up&down on his own.
I installed this product myself with minor fitting of the sight to fit my STI Novak dovetail. Has not moved one bit. It is exactly what I was looking for and the service from Dawson is outstanding.
For a Novak cut sight, it was hard to install in a Colt 38 Super with Novak sights - which had no windage adjustment. Well made. I would have given it a 5 except it being hard to install.
