These extended basepads are designed to fit the IPSC® (including Classic Division) boxes* with maximum length for positive seating in competition or tactical environments! With the 1911 single stack making a strong comeback it made sense for Dave Dawson to make a basepad that increased the consistency of a fast, smooth, positive seating reload!
*After installation, check to ensure that your gun still fits the appropriate box as guns vary dimensionally.
