Our Dawson Precision® 1911 ICE® Magwells have proven to be very popular, but some folks need to shave some weight off their guns to make weight in the division they compete in! With that in mind, we've developed an aluminum mainspring housing that is a direct replacement in the 1911 ICE® Magwell system. Weighing in at a mere 0.60 oz., this aluminum mainspring housing reduces weight over the steel mainspring housing allowing your 1911 to make weight in your division.
Choose between an Arched or Flat mainspring housing.
CNC machined to exact tolerances, and available in a Black or Silver Aluminum finish.
Not having to buy a complete ice Magwell to have either flat or arched mainspring housing is a grest deal.. i wish they were stainless but the aluminum is still a good option
