I “upgraded” my sights from competing FO sight because the Dawson had a narrower blade and the fiber piece is inset making for a more precise dot size. I did have to file down the little nub on the bottom of the set screw hole disk. One of my Tanfoglios was drilled slightly through and the little nub prevented the barrel from sliding into the slide. Other than the nub issue the sight is a perfect fit on my Stock 2s and Limited pistols.
I wanted a finer front sight for occasional hunting with my 10mm Witness Limited and this one is just what I hoped for.
I have a EAA Witness Elite Match that needed sights that I could actually see. With the replicable 2 color fiber optics, it works excellent. Perfect fit Excellent product, very bright sight for old eyes. Thanks!!
Perfect like all Dawson Precision pieces!
After decades of recreational shooting I have discovered the Tanfoglio Witness Elite Match. The only shortcoming was the front sight. The Dawson fiber optic front sight is a perfect fit and has transformed this pistol intol my favorite shooting iron.
Dawson front sights are the best I have ever used. Easy installation and nice bright fiber optic. Ordering and shipping is as good as it gets.
I like this front sight better because the size of the fiber optic is bigger in diameter. My eyes are not as good as in previous years, so the larger optic is better for me.
