Perfect fit and ease of use

Recieved my ICE magwell for my G34 Med backstrap. Installed easy and fit perfectly.
During Dry fire practice i did several mag changes then subsequently at the range, deffinate improvement in my reloads.
One added advantage, i have large hands, it pushed my strong hand furthe up the gun automatically.

I ordered this for my competition glock 35. This is by far the best quality I have used and has a great weight balance for my gun. However, I use the tti +5 base plates on my factory Mags and with that base plate on the magazine I loaded the mag into the gun with the magwell attached it pushes the tti catch pin out that secures the base from coming off. This leaves the extension in the unlocked position allowing the base plate to come off during use. There were no other reviews that I read about this until I found 1 and only 1 YouTube video of a guy with same issue. I had to dremel a small channel relief to allow the pin to have somewhere to go in the plastic magwell insert. No problem works amazing now but was alarmed when I first encountered the issue. I Would still buy this again.

This is the first mag well that I was able to find that still excepts the large back straps for my glock. This thing is awesome. Super high-quality material. Exceptional fit with no wiggle or play. Looks good also.

Dawsons Ice Magwell for a Gen 4 with medium backstrap is an outstanding addition. It shipped the day after ordered and arrived from Texas to Central New York on the third day using their economy shipping. Installation on my Glock 34 took less than 5 minutes and every thing fit like a glove. Unlike most after market magwells made out of synthetic material the Ice is very sturdy and does not flex or move in any way. Solid insert, using two retention screws hold the light weight well in place and I love the ability to change the polymer insert out when a new one is needed.

I have been a customer of Dawson Precision for years. I have purchased their products and have been very satisfied. the mag well that I just purchased for my Glock 17 is the best mag well I have ever used. It is just the right size. The reloads are fast and easy. It also helps with the grip of the pistol. The mag well was easy to install and came with all the tools to do the job.
