I have been a shooter for over 25 years and have found myself trying every kind of option for sights over the years. While I got close on a few I was still struggling to find what I really wanted. On a forum I frequent, I came across a thread where someone was asking about Dawson sights for the VP9. One person posted that Dawson had copied the dimensions and created their sights to be an exact match to the factory sights. Since I was looking for a plain black rear sight and a bright front sight, I chose the carry sights with red fiber optic. Once I received them, I followed the instructions provided by Dawson and installed them myself. It took about an hour to do some filing and fitting. After getting them installed, I went to the range to zero them in. These sights were spot on point of aim/point of impact. My groups tightened up dramatically. I have since converted all of my guns to Dawson Precision Carry sights. I primarily carry the HK VP9sk, but I also have a G19, a few Kahrs, and 2 full size VP9s. Overall impressed with the product and the customer service provided by Dawson Precision.

First time I shot a sti merauder with Dawson sights I was amazed! Of course the gun is great but what I noticed was how fast I could get on target with the sights and how easy it was to see the sights almost like using a red dot to hit the target! So I installed them on my H&K VP9 and I am more accurate with the gun now! Wow what a difference! Thanks Dawson precision! All my guns will have your sights now!
