Description

These extended baseplates are CNC machined from billet aluminum and uniquely designed to ease the installation and removal of the baseplate to the mag body. In addition, they DO NOT ADD CAPACITY and each weigh 1 oz., making them legal for USPSA®, IDPA, and IPSC® competition*. And, of course, the taller baseplates also help facilitate reloads when using a magwell.

*After installation, check to ensure that your gun still fits the appropriate box as guns vary dimensionally.

  • Choose from 3 HEIGHTS for multiple application and needs:
    • +100 - 0.100" Taller than Standard
    • +200 - 0.200" Taller than Standard
    • +300 - 0.300" Taller than Standard
  • Unique design combined with finger grooves facilitates easy removal.
  • CNC machined from Aircraft Aluminum to exact tolerances.
  • Available in a Black or Silver Aluminum finish.

    new mecgar-para 9mm compatible

    The mecgar 9mm 17rd para compatible mags have horrible baseplates. on a whim i ordered one of these, it fit the mag and most importantly with the new baseplate the mag locks into the pistol perfectly. Bought one on a whim to test and when i found that they fit and function perfectly i ordered more for all my para mags. these are a great buy for p18.9 owners that cant find original para 9mm mags. customer service is also top notch, Dawson has earned a lifetime customer.

    Dawson.300 base pads

    Living in New Jersey, we had to go to 10 rd. Mags. I put these basepads on MecGar 10 rd. Mags for my Para P16 and they work and look great.

    If you have a P-14 with a mag well and Mec-Gar mags, these work great. No more grinding the pads to fit! I’ve used the +. 2 and +.3 and both work great. Wish I’d found these sooner!

    Looks, fit, finish all top shelf. Work perfect with my Ice mag well in my Para 14-45. Also very easy to install. Thanks to all the Dawson folks for continuing to offer a quality USA made product!

    Easy installation and they fit the ParaOrd Pro Custom with mag well just fine. Installed on MecGar mags easily. Range test this weekend.
