These extended baseplates are CNC machined from billet aluminum and uniquely designed to ease the installation and removal of the baseplate to the mag body. In addition, they DO NOT ADD CAPACITY and each weigh 1 oz., making them legal for IDPA competition*. And, of course, the taller baseplates also help facilitate reloads when using a magwell.

These base plates are, like all Dawson products, very well made. They fit snug, color holds fast, and looks great. I would not hesitate to buy more if needed.
