Baseplate, for Para® Magazines, EZ-Off, Extended, by Dawson Precision®
Description
These extended baseplates are CNC machined from billet aluminum and uniquely designed to ease the installation and removal of the baseplate to the mag body. In addition, they DO NOT ADD CAPACITY and each weigh 1 oz., making them legal for USPSA®, IDPA, and IPSC® competition*. And, of course, the taller baseplates also help facilitate reloads when using a magwell.
*After installation, check to ensure that your gun still fits the appropriate box as guns vary dimensionally.

- +100 - 0.100" Taller than Standard
- +200 - 0.200" Taller than Standard
- +300 - 0.300" Taller than Standard
- Unique design combined with finger grooves facilitates easy removal.
- CNC machined from Aircraft Aluminum to exact tolerances.
- Available in a Black or Silver Aluminum finish.

Solid and Reliable
The original factory base plates for the P14 .45acp magazines are loose by fractions of a millimeter and the clips have a tendency to fracture when dropped. As a defensive pistol instructor in Las Vegas, NV the sun, arid environment, and hard packed gravel eat up plastics like the Cookie Monster. Dawson Precision's Extended Baseplates increase the magazines' stability feel and life span.

ProComp Solution
Perfect modification to MecGar mag for Para ProComp 14-45. Finally a solution which allows use of the mag well unlike other products which required grinding or shaving of the base pads. The +300 were just what I needed so I bought 7!

These fit Para Ordnance "Made in Canada" mags, also.
I wanted to replace the nylon +2 baseplate on a few Para Ordnance P18 magazines (stamped "Made in Canada") so they'd fit my Para USA Pro Custom 18.9. I bought one of each size baseplate to see for myself. They all fit perfectly. The +100 sat almost flush with the magwell. The +200 protruded about ⅛", and the +300 stuck out about ¼". All quality items.

Metal not Plastic
I have had plastic Mag bottoms break these metal ones are very very good and I will be picking up many moor of them.

Extended baseplate for PARA Pro Custom
Needed extended base plates to make stock Para 14rd 45acp mags work in my Pro Custom 14.45. Could not get mags with extended base plate from Para USA, go figure. Bought the Dawson .300 extended baseplate in silver, fit is perfect, length is perfect, and quality is outstanding. 5 stars again Dave.

Good fit and Clean lines with Mag well extension
I used the +300 on my magazines and they fit very well and are a good match to the DP Mag well extension I've added to my P-14 Frame. It does make sure you have enough extension and room for a clean and secure reload.

Does not work with custom pro pistols
This item is of nice quality but does not fit fit when using the Dawson mag funnel, with triple k magazines but the extended floor plate will, requires the use of 140 mm spring.
