Easy to install. Extra inserts. Other colors. Personally, I like the green.

Is there really a difference with Dawson Precision® sights? You bet there is!
While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, Dawson Precision® sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.

This front sight is a great improvement. Can pick up sight very quickly, much more light.
I bought this to replace the factory sight for my new TSO (too low even with the lowest rear sight setting). Picked the 0.1" blade width and the correct height using the sight calculator. It seems that I got more than what I purchased. Yes I now have a front sight with the correct height to hit PoI at 20y. But the front sight is much superior to the factory one. The blade is sharp looking and the fiber optic is bright and crisp. The factory FO front is hazy at times even outdoors. But with Dawson, I can focus on the target (up to 10y) and see the fiber optic tracking and moving when shooting side by side targets, almost like shooting with a red dot (outdoor shooting).
This is enough to make me change all the FO front sights for my other CZ competition guns (shadow 2 and SP01 shadow).
Did the math, ordered the sight and hit the target.
The sight is excellent, and installation was very easy now that they come from the factory with a notch for the roll pin. However, the most important aspect of Dawson Precision is the guidance they gave me in selecting the proper sight for my specific gun.
I used Dawson fiber optic on my glock that I shot when I started shooting uspsa. Now I’m shooting a CZ Tactical Sport and I had tried the fiber optic that comes from CZ themselves. Not only did I not like the large diameter of the fiber optic rod itself, i also didn’t like the width of the blade. I called Dawson up and they helped me pick the correct size ( height and width) that I was looking for and once I put that sight on my CZ , I instantly shot my best match with the new gun so far. I like a narrow front sight with a little wider rear notch for those precise long range steel targets. That’s the sight picture that works for me. Even the fiber optic cable Dawson provides with there sights is the brightest and crispest in the business. And if all that weren’t enough, the CZ front sight is dovetailed with a cross pin to keep the sight in place. Dawson takes it one step further and uses a microscopic set screw underneath the fiber optic rod that snugs up onto the cross pin for added security. To sum it up, if I’m using a fiber optic sight on any firearm here on out , it’s going to be Dawson.
I was surprised when I got my sights from the mailbox, even the tool to install the sight was included.
Installing was easy and straight forward as soon as I sanded the bottom of the new sight in 800 grit sandpaper about 4 stokes.
Went to the outdoor range and I was hitting the steel targets from 25 yards away one handed, both eyes open. The red fiber optic really made the difference. Thank you Dawson !!!
Great front site. No drilling needed as site base is cut to accept roll pin. Fit was perfect. Thanks Dawson.
Seems perfect for the orange rear sight.
Required a little sanding on bottom for a perfect fit
