Sight, for GSG 1911 .22 Pistols, Fiber Optic Front, by Dawson Precision®

First the GSG 1911, with a custom barrel bushing from EGW, is the single most underrated handgun in 22LR. So accurate I can shoot through the same hole at 17 yards, 51 ft, standing off hand, slow fire, and very reliable when kept well oiled. This Dawson Precision front sight is high quality carbon steel, CNC machined to exact tolerances. This is the best shooting accuracy I have had in 40 years with aging old eyes. I bought the 0.310 high 0.100 wide fiber optic front sight. Your GSG 1911 will shoot quite high with a custom barrel bushing for accuracy, so you will need a tall front sight. Thanks to Dawson Precision for the excellent quality sights at a reasonable price, and fast shipping. Please consider making an adjustable rear sight for windage AND elevation.

Unbelievable...followed the instructions on the sight calculator for a 1 inch high impact at 20 yards. Can't believe it was that easy.

Excellent quality and exactly what I ordered as usual. this front sight required no fitting , just slid it in and tightened the set screws...perfect fit. This is not my first Dawson Precision sight I have ordered... and it won't be my last.

Finally got the correct height for my Sig 1911 22 made by GSG. Definitely better than plastic sights that came on gun. The first one ordered for me by gunsmith was .340 and shot a foot low. This .240 appears to be right.

I’m 60 For my aging eyes the green fiber optic site works best, it draws my eye strait to the front site for quick engagement. love these sites .

I have a gsg 22lr conversion kit for my 1911. It fits the gun but was shooting about 3 inches high, even with the tallest sight. I made a small paper front sight and got things relatively close, then used the calculator on the website. Ordered a .290 and it works great. Tapped right in. Two screws. Having fun now...

Top Notch Quality for sure. Thoughtful design (the two set screws) as the slide is soft "pot metal". AND (as advertised, VERY BRIGHJT fiber optic !!!!!
