This is my second set of Dawson fiber optic 1911 sights. They are easily installed and present a clear, bright sight picture. Just what the Dr. ordered for these "mature" eyes.
Good price, quick ship, ALL tools required (except small hammer) were included. Install on my GSG 1911-22 was a snap. About 6 to 10 careful strokes with a small file is all that was needed for a snug fit. Now I need to get to the range for a sight in session.
I have a Sig (GSG) 1911-22 that was shooting 5-6 inches high at 20 yards. I had used their sight math system and came up with a front replacement. The sights on this gun are plastic and I really liked the Fixed Carry Sight Set - Fiber Optic. I called Dawson for advise and went with the stated set. With the perfect impact guarantee you can't go wrong. Installation was easy on this gun and the group was now 4-5 inches high. Called Dawson, went through the calculations with the gentleman on the phone and he shipped out a replacement front sight. Installed the higher front sight and just 30 out of 40 shots in a 3 inch bull at 20 yards with these 68 year old eyes. This was not my first Dawson purchase and it won't be my last. Thank You.

Sights were easy to install, just follow the enclosed directions. The installation tools that came with the sights were top notch!
These sights totally made this a better gun, easy to align in competition. A definate "must Have" for this pistol!
I own many firearms and this was not my first sight replacement. While I have been disappointed in the past with substandard products, the Dawson Precision sights are a very satisfying, quality product that I would recommend. The fiber optic sights are easy to see and installed smoothly.
I ordered the Dawson Precision GSG 1911 .22 Fixed Carry Sight Set - Fiber Optic Rear & Fiber Optic Front. A couple days later they showed up to my surprise, Fast shipping !! I immediately installed them. Like any other sight you will buy they will need to be fitted to your gun. Very easy to fit with my small file kit. When I shot the gun I was 1.25" low. I called Dawson Precision and spoke to a tech who was very knowledgeable and knew what I needed. He told me he would be sending me out the sight I would need to correct this. Two day's later they were here. Now if that's not customer service at its best I don't know what is. Thank you Dawson Precision !!!!
