While other sights give off a hazy glow making it difficult to focus, Dawson Precision® sights offer you the sharpest picture. We counterbore the blade so the optic is recessed. This subtle difference focuses the light in the sight making it not only brighter, but clearer. A fully cradled optic provides a longer optic lifespan.

    With minor handfitting,front sight installed easily and fits perfectly. It came with red fibre optic and I changed it out for the green. Comes with very good instructions and I highly recommend to anyone that wants a bright fibre optic sight.

    Tell you later...ordered a sight pusher to remove my front sight. SR1911 is tighter than Democrat spending their own money! The sight though is of great quality....thanks. Dk

    Worthy equipment

    Very well executed highly visible sight. 10 minutes on some emery cloth and pushed it on with my sight tool. Vast improvement and now i can see the front sight!

    This front sight is truly and upgrade to my SR1911. I had a gun smith install it. The shooting results proved that I should have upgraded to this sight a long time ago.

    100% Better Sighting

    Before I purchased the FO sight I was using a Ruger Target sight., all black. When shooting at black or darkened steel I was having issues picking up the target quickly. A friend recommended the Dawson sights. I found the correct sight for my Ruger 9mm 1911. Replaced sight in 10 mins and was "dinging" the steel like never before. I will recommend these FO sights to my shooting buddies

    As usual, a very fine sight. Very little smithing involved for a perfect fit. sight is spot on. I would highly recommend.

    Bought these sights for my Ruger SR1911 and wow! installation was pretty straight forward. Had to do a bit of filling being that DP dove tail comes slightly oversized. But a little bit of patience filing it down as per their YouTube video, the fit was perfect! Highly recommend
