Tool-less design is the best, for me. I have two of these for another pistol and have always liked the fact that they are very easy to remove for cleaning my mags. yet they don't come apart just from dropping them. Another great Dawson product!!!

These are the best out there. Had tried several others prior to these, sold them all. Easy off, but don't fall off. If you are looking for an extension this is the one. 5 for the 9mm & 5 for the .40

I didn't think the toolless design was going to be a big deal. Until I tried it. I might actually clean my magazines now!
I did three of these. Only got +3 in the 9mm, and not even close to halfway to another one. Who's getting +4 with these?

Arrived very quickly. Went on very easily. Got to function test them today, unlike other extended magazine versus I've purchased these went to slide lock properly every time. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

These come with the longer spring, some others do not. That matters. These go on and off in seconds with no tools and have functioned flawlessly with no snagging or gaps. The others I tried were difficult to get on and off and all left a small gap between the metal magazine and the plastic base pad that I hand to grind down the base pad and or the follower to get it not to snag.

Slick, sleek design, very well made. Fits very good with the ICE magwell. Not sure how many rounds exactly it is supposed to add, but from the regular 16 i can only fit around 19 rounds. Maybe because the springs are still new and firm, not sure. But overall great product

I have used Dawson base pads on my 2011 and and no concerns about this, and as I expected I was correct, I get +3 on my 40 with this pad. I only wish it was offered in Blue or Red not just black and silver. IMHO the best base pads you will find for the XDm.
