Factory extractors are often made from lesser materials and can lose tension quickly, leading to unpredictable extraction and ejection failures. EGW's Practical Extractor is designed to solve these issues for the EAA Girsan® 2311 platform.
Modeled directly after our highly successful 1911 Practical Extractor, this part features a relieved center section. This turned down body allows the extractor to flex properly and makes tuning for the perfect tension significantly easier. They machine these from high quality carbon steel and vacuum heat treat them to ensure they hold their tension for tens of thousands of rounds.

While this extractor is precision machined for the Girsan® 2311, 1911 and 2011® platform extractors are not drop in parts. The extractor will need to be properly tensioned.
