The Apex Fully Machined Sear (Hard Sear)* was designed to enhance the performance of what we consider an outstanding pistol.
Our modified geometry will not only improve the over-travel and sear reset characteristics, but dramatically reduce the trigger pull weight in most pistols.
This sear is made from heat treated A-2 tool steel for durability and long service life.
The Apex Fully Machined Sear (Hard Sear)* fits the original production model M&P series pistols in 9mm, .357 Sig, .40 S&W, only and Shield 2.0 in 9mm and .40S&W.
NOT FOR FOR USE IN THE M&P 45, M&P M2.0 MODELS IN 9mm AND .40S&W, and M&P Shield (9mm/40S&W/45ACP).
